Doula Training for 

Medical Professionals

12 Hours

Are you an OB-Nurse, EMT/Paramedic, OB-Tech, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, or a medical provider within the scope of maternal-infant health? Doula Training for Medical Professionals is designed to educate medical professionals about physiological birth, discuss the history of medicalized birth, and perform hands-on skills that will promote labor progession with the use of Rebozo, Reflexology and Peanut Balls, whether natural or medicated. This training will include presentations from Midwives, Doulas, Nurses & other collaborative holistic providers.

Certification Process

  • Mentorship for Doulas (6 Months)
  • Hands-On Skills Checklist
  • 12 hours of Birth Doula Support
  • 12 hours of Postpartum Doula Support
  • 12 hours of Breastfeeding Support 
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Pass Certification Exam

Admission Requirements:

Proficient with OB Medical Terminology

Understands the Basics of Pregnancy, Childbirth & Postpartum Period.

Active Medical Professional License or Certification

Two Years of hands-on support in a Clinical Setting

CPR/First-Aid Certified

Neonatal Resuscitation Program
